ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Paige and I am excited that you are here!
I graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in December of 2023 with my Master of Arts in Counseling. My path to becoming a counselor was a little different. All through my childhood, I wanted to be a teacher. When I got to college, I ended up declaring architectural design as my major. After 1 year, I realized the field of architecture wasn't for me and I switched my major to health sciences, which is what I graduated with in May of 2021.
I took some time to identify what I originally liked about the multiple fields I had explored and was able to pick out three traits: creativity, empathy and helping people. These three traits are what I bring into my counseling practice, among other things. I pride myself on creating a welcoming, warm environment where everyone feels comfortable being uniquely themselves. I use empirically based approaches tailored to meet the needs of each individual client with some humor sprinkled every once in a while. Welcome to my practice, your path to healing starts here.

MY TREATMENT APPROACH
My practice utilizes a person-centered approach with a strong foundation in values centered work. I strive to create a comfortable, welcoming environment where clients can be themselves. Everyone's counseling journey is going to be different, and I work to meet each client where they are. I work with multiple counseling theories, including DBT, ACT and SFBT.
