Laney Gaston, Student Intern

  • “Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, but learning to dance in the rain.” — Vivian Greene

My journey to becoming a clinician began in high school, where I discovered a deep passion for helping others and the value of meaningful connection. I earned my BSW from Missouri Western State University and am currently pursuing my MSW as I work toward becoming an LCSW. Through my academic studies, practicum experience, and personal growth, I have developed a strong interest in mental health, behavior change, and trauma-informed care. These experiences have further fueled my passion for helping individuals better understand themselves, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. I am especially driven to support individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, develop self-awareness, and build confidence during pivotal stages of growth.
