Katie received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas in 2023. Following graduation, Katie began the Master's of Counseling program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. On track to graduate Spring 2026, Katie is motivated to work with a diverse range of individuals.
Over the past year, Katie gained experience counseling adolescents and young adults at UMKC Community Counseling and Assessment Center. Through these experiences, Katie is comfortable with in-person and telehealth therapy.

MY TREATMENT APPROACH
- Katie's counseling approach is eclectic and individualized, drawing from evidence-based practices including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and person-centered care.
- Katie integrates cognitive restructuring techniques, self-esteem-building exercises, and creative modalities such as play and expressive arts to support healing and personal empowerment.
