I started with Renew Counseling in January 2022 as an undergraduate intern for the adolescent intensive outpatient program. I knew I wanted to take my career in a direction that could aid adolescents find healing tools and Renew offered me the position to do so. It was a rewarding experience seeing how each clinician connected with the adolescents in creating a healing journey while continuing to express themselves authentically. After graduating with a B.A. in Psychology: Mental Health Concentration I continued to work with Renew Counseling and its expanding adolescent services.

I am now working on various aspects of the program but the most fulfilling has been helping families find hope in helping their young people. Whether the young people connect with one of our therapists, start our IOP, seek our new weekly skills group, or connect with outside providers I am glad to find the help necessary for their current needs. Renew Counseling has shown me to be a great resource in the community and I am delighted to be part of their growing services.

When not working, I spend my time crafting, doing puzzles, repotting my evergrowing house plant collection, or going on walks with my blue heeler dog (Rocket) and my husband.
